Franco Guazzoni ha sviluppato la maggior parte della sua carriera professionale nel management consulting. Ha venduto, coordinato e realizzato svariati progetti di consulenza e di formazione, in molti settori industriali: Manifatturiero, Consumer Products, Retail and Distribution, Chimico e Farmaceutico, Servizi, per aziende di varia dimensione, sia italiane che multinazionali.

Gli interventi effettuati coprono un’ampia gamma di contenuti: dalla messa a punto delle Strategie allo Sviluppo di nuovi business, dalla Finanza al Controllo, dall’Implementazione di sistemi ERP alla Supply Chain, dall’Organizzazione al Cambiamento Organizzativo, dal Miglioramento continuo al BPR, dall’Assessment al Coaching.
Franco Guazzoni tiene numerosi seminari, sia aziendali che pubblici, su argomenti di management, organizzativi e comportamentali, per il top e il middle management e per forze di vendita prevalentemente di aziende di beni industriali, di beni di largo consumo, nonché per svariate banche.

Al di là degli skills professionali, nel corso della sua carriera ha sviluppato anche competenze imprenditoriali, manageriali e di sviluppo di business. Dopo aver contribuito alla fondazione e allo sviluppo della Mida, ha partecipato in maniera determinante alla crescita di Ernst & Young Consultants (passata da 50 a oltre 1.200 professionisti in 8 anni) e, da ultimo, ha giocato ruoli di rilievo nell’avvio del merger che ha portato alla nascita di CGEY (ora Capgemini). Ha diretto e sviluppato sia gruppi organizzativi permanenti che gruppi di lavoro di varie dimensioni, centrati su progetti o su clienti. E’ autore di vari articoli su argomenti manageriali e ha sviluppato know-how originale in tema di processi a valore aggiunto e di efficacia manageriale.

Mister Guazzoni has developed most of his professional career in management consulting.
He sold, conducted and led the delivery of consulting assignments for many millions of dollars, in most industry sectors: Manufacturing, CPRD, Chemical and Pharmaceutical, Services, Utilities, both for International and Italian Client Companies of various sizes.
The scope of such engagements covered a large span of contents: from Strategies and Business Development to Finance and Control, from Information Technology and Systems Implementation to Logistics and Supply Chain, from Organization and Organizational Change to Leadership and Performance Improvement.
During his consulting career, FG held many public and in-house seminars for top and middle management.
Besides a broad professional background, during his career FG has also developed managerial, business and entrepreneurial skills: he began contributing to the successful establishment and development of MIDA. Then, as one of the five members of the Executive Committee, he led the dramatic growth of EYC (from 50 to 1.100 professionals in eight years), finally playing a determinant role in the merge that took place with Cap Gemini in the last two years.
FG has managed, coordinated and developed many organizational units and account teams of various dimensions, ranging from a few units to several hundreds.
FG is author of various articles on managerial issues and has developed original know-how on value added processes and leadership approaches, in both medium and large organizations.

ASSOCONSULT - Associazione fra Società e Studi di Consulenza di Direzione e Organizzazione Aziendale, President for the term 1984-1987. Member of the Admission Committee between 1998 and 2006, Northern Area Coordinator between 2009 and 2012, Member of the Arbitrator Committee since 2007. In the period 2009 – 2012 Member of the Steering Committee of the Innovative Tertiary Sector of Assolombarda
2003 - 2005, Represented Assoconsult as a member of the Executive Committee of FEACO, the European Federation of Management Consultancies Associations.
APCO - Associazione Professionale dei Consulenti di Direzione e Organizzazione: President for two terms, 1980-82 and 1982-84, he currently coordinates the assessment sessions for new members and for the CMC recognition, given on behalf of APCO, the Italian MC Institute, belonging to ICMCI.
Since 1986 CMC - Certified Management Consultant – qualification recognized by ICMCI, International Council of Management Consultant Institutions, where he has been Vice
President and member of the Executive Committee (Sept. 2003 - Sept. 2005). Between 2005 and 2007 in charge for the World Wide Education and the Training Task Force.
In 2010 was in charge of a mission in Syria, to start the local Consulting Association and to certify the first group of Syrian CMCs.
